It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Breakfast was nice and the staff are really friendly. Elisa, who runs the place, is absolutely amazing and was very approachable and helpful throughout our stay.

Location excellent for visiting friends and family with superb views from our very quiet room overlooking the valley and the mountains. A good start point for walkers to visit the Parco di Monteveccia and the valley of Curone. Superb breakfast to start the day and the staff were very pleasant and helpful full of knowledge about the hotel and the area.

Everything! Great location and easy to find. Good size. Never stayed anywhere with two shrines in the wall before. Everything you could possibly need is provided, all clean and tidy, even a (an?) hammock in the garden: a whole new experience for me! Soft but very supportive bed. Very attentive host.

Our stay at Amata Valgre was incredible!! Armidio & Leonardo were so helpful and friendly, we really got to completely relax with no issues at the accomodation, rooms have all the facilities to make it as comfortable as possible. Armidio showed us many things Valgreghentino had to offer, from its culture to its friendly people and food, it was an exceptionally special experience and one of our favourites in Italy. We didn’t have a car, but Armidio and Leonardo were so accommodating and helped us get around when we really needed it, when it was completely unnecessary to as well. We really appreciate how nicely these few days turned out and would recommend amata valgre to anyone! Definitely exceeded all our expectations, and we’re sure it will for you too!

It was wonderful stay. The village is very traditional and original. The house has nice terraces with flowers, nice ground , and some agricultural facilities . There is ancient archeological pillar built-in to the agricultural building ; The village church is very close to the house. The room was clean and comfortable. The host was helpful We climbed Via Ferrata Galleria di Morcate , and also Via Ferrata "Gamma1" (Pizzo d'Erna); The property is close to lake Como and Lecco, with plenty of very nice trekking routes and Via Ferrata routes

This was a dream - accommodation in an old monastery. Just perfect - solitude, nature and peace. Yes - the bells ring regularly, but that's part of it. The accommodation is very spacious, perfectly furnished, we didn't miss anything. There was no one in the entire building - only occasionally a few tourists came to look. The kitchen was perfectly furnished, the bedroom had comfortable furniture - we slept great. Of course you need a car, parking nearby was not a problem. Bergamo can be reached in approx. 1/2 hour, Lago di Como approx. 1 hour, Lago Maggiore approx. 1.5-2 hours. Everything is not so far - but the road is slow :-) It was great and we would love to come back. Thank you very much.

Great stay in a 1500 year old castle! Enjoyed the afternoon by the pool and exploring the grounds. The host was very welcoming. We had a delicious pizza prepared on-site for dinner with wine on the balcony. The atmosphere was great in this building due to its age. There was no aircon but it stayed cool in the building due to the thickness of the walls, it was 32C but still cool in the bedroom. There was only one other couple staying so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
