Loved everything about Poggilunghi, ideally situated to explore Tuscany. Great pool, and the accommodation was lovely. Simon and Gabi are great hosts, very helpful, and have the two most awesome Labradors, who made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Tuscany. Our only regret is that we only had three days to stay there; we could have easily spent 5-7 days at Poggilunghi.

Very nice location, in the tuscanian hills. The room is super comfy, the building seems freshly renovated in a very nice and authantic style. The garden is amazing, it was an unforgattable memory when we were sitting outside with a glass of wine and were watching the surronding area. Pool area is also fine. Most importantly: staff is super nice and friendly, it really seemed that it was important for them to make sure that you have a good time.

This was a perfect Tuscan stay away from the big cities. Definitely need a car to reach but it feels like a home away from home. Host is lovely and although she only spoke Italian and we only spoke English, nothing was a problem. Beautiful, authentic stay.

Set in Bucine, 48 km from Florence, Il Verreno features an outdoor pool and sauna. Siena is 25 km away. The accommodation is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Beautiful property, recently renovated, large double bedroom with living room. Room cleaned daily, staff always there to assist. Excellent restaurant. Very quiet location on top of a hill. Definitely recommended.
