Through booking.com we reserved a 2 bedroom property. When we arrived we discovered that booking.com had mis-sold the property, there was only one bedroom. The owners were brilliant. They understood our situation, we each shared what booking.com had told us was booked and we could see that the two pieces of information were different. I wrote to booking.com about this but they don't seem concerned enough to respond. Shame on booking.com. We found somewhere else to stay at short notice but even then the owners tried to help by offering us a second additional property for just the cost of cleaning. Owners like this deserve to be better treated by booking.com than this and I can only speak highly of the support and understanding shown by the owners.

Warm, the kindest hosts. Excellent hospitality. Our room was so pretty, excellent. The breakfast was top tier, it included local and organic products. One of us had food allergies and these were handled so well too. The dogs were so friendly, soft and adorable. The area where the property is located is great, quiet, very peaceful. We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind to recommend and book a place to dine out and where the staff happened to be the kindest of people as well.

We walked with two 15 years old children Via Francigena and stayed for 1 night at Sforza House. We stayed in spacious and very clean family room with beautiful bathroom. The house was fully equipped with a practical kitchen and dining area. The host who showed us around was fantastic friendly and helpful. The dinner recommendation was brilliant.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—always smiling and available. The spa team were true professionals; we had an incredible massage.     Me and my family spent 2 nights here and we absolutely enjoyed everything. The host is a very nice lady who showed us aroud the property and the castle. She also told us about the history of the castle. The experience felt very personal as the place was not touristy at all. This is a great place to go if you want to spend time in a quiet environment.
