Beautiful cosy little hotel at the edge of the old city ner the Fortezza parking. Actually I wanted to book in Montepulciano but there are no properties that come even close to this one in Montalcino. Very friendly staff immediately meets every wish, very good breakfast.

An excellent place to stay just under the walls of an attractive old village. 5 minutes (uphill) walk to the village square. The ability to laze in the garden is an added advantage and there are outstanding views of the countryside. The host is friendly and helpful.
