I found B&B PalmaViola went really beyond any expectations I had. Booking a B&B, you feel lucky to just "get in and get out," but I was able to meet Palma, the owner, as well as her delightful mother! We had a couple of lovely conversations...as there was quite a "story" in my staying there! I was extremely pleased with my stay, and would gladly return, and would recommend the PalmaViola to anyone wishing a pleasant and convenient stay in Caserta (it's only a short walk to the Reggia). I was coming to Caserta for the very first time, on a "personal" mission...not to see the famous "Reggia di Caserta," (although I did go spend an entire day there...), but rather to seek out the possibility of finding and procuring a copy of my parents' original Marriage Certificate from 1945! My father was an officer in the American Armed Forces, and arrived in Caserta in 1945. His unit was housed across the street from my mother's family, and eventually my father and my mother were able to meet and "court." By July of 1945 they were married in the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, in the center of the town. Now, all the church records, as a result of the damages and chaos of WWII were moved from the local churches (where they are normally kept) to the general archives of the Diocese of Caserta, right next to the Cathedral. As I said before, I was on "a mission" to see if my parents' records of marrieage still existed, and whether I could secure a copy. In brief, my search was successful, and after a mere 20 minute seach carried out in my presence by the Archivist of the Diocese, I walked away with two photocopies of the original document! Here's the final "kicker": My mother's name was "PALMA," the same name of the owner of the PalmaViola B&B.

This room was stunning!.. we just stayed the for one night, very clean, nice design of the room. Washing machine that we could use. Payed parking outside in closed area. The owner, Vincenza was very kind.

Gino met us at the rail station and took us to the apartment. As the other room wasn't booked we had the whole place to ourselves. The apartment is very large and airy (high ceilings), the kitchen well stocked so we could help ourselves to breakfast and Gino had also kindly left us some delicious mozzarella di bufala

The breakfast is very good and rich, and the reception is very nice and give so many helps for searching any place I have to go. The location is perfect to easy go anywhere by bus.

We enjoyed our stay., it’s very close to the train station and the palace. We liked the breakfast, simple but good. The manager was very friendly, cool and easy going.
