Family hotels and homes in Torretta

Since we flew home the next day we decided not to stay in Palermo but somewhere closer to the airport. Was one of the best decisions, since not only the host was extremely nice and friendly, the apartment was great and in the surrounding there are also a lot of (way cheaper than in Palermo, but not less delicious) restaurants etc. In fact, if you want to experience a little more authentic-non touristic Sicily, this might also be worth a thought. Parking place was easy in front of the apartment, we had 2 separate sleeping rooms and it was very clean and nice. We also enjoyed the terrace very much. We also had no issue with airplanes - there are just some cats around having a dispute, but nothing we were bothered of. I definitely would come back here and recommend every one of my friends when they have already been in Palermo and fly home the next day.

Everything is exaclty what you'd expect.

The family were welcoming and went to great lengths to make us comfortable: my wife had injured her back earlier in the day and they cleared a downstairs bedroom for us and tracked down the only open chemist on Easter Sunday to get painkillers. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious!

The location of the house is just 100 meters from the famous Monreale Church. Also a good base point to exploit Palermo without staying in the noisy city. The family couple that owns the B&B are so generous, that makes you feel home. Grazzie!

Pietro and Rosalba were very attentive and always quick to answer our questions. They welcomed us in person, which made us feel really comfortable. The apartment was fully equipped and very functional, with everything we needed, including coffee and a washing machine! We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

The host is very warm-hearted and also provides a drop-off service. The room is clean and tidy. It is worth recommending.

We spent an unforgettable time at this villa with our family — it was a true pleasure in every moment. Everything is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details, and from the very beginning, you can feel the love and care the hosts have put into this place and their hospitality. Everything is spotlessly clean — not just clean, but impeccably so. The villa’s grounds are like an oasis: an incredible garden full of a wide variety of plants and flowers, all meticulously maintained. You can spend hours simply enjoying the beauty around you. The pool deserves special mention — it’s not just beautiful, it’s absolutely stunning! Every morning, the host personally takes care of it, ensuring guests can enjoy it in perfect condition. The outdoor kitchen is another highlight — not only is it convenient, it’s truly amazing! Cooking and dining in the open air was a wonderful experience. The guest house is accessed through a lovely reception area that feels like a small museum — filled with fascinating, tastefully chosen items. Each object seems to tell a story, and it’s clear how much the host treasures this space. The layout of the rooms is very well thought out, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and there’s a small kitchen and a beautiful terrace in the guest house. Again, everything is carefully planned to provide maximum comfort. This place gave us so many happy family moments. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the beauty, and the heartfelt hospitality — everything was simply perfect. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this incredible stay!
