The hosts were a really nice Italian couple who welcomed us personally. The apartment has two truly separate bedrooms plus a small bed in the kitchen. Lake Iseo is a 10-minute drive away, and Lake Moro is also about 10 minutes by car or a 30-minute hike. An archaeological site with prehistoric engravings is within walking distance, as is a small aquapark. Still, if your budget allows, consider staying in Pisogne, Lovere, or nearby towns. The apartment has all the necessary amenities. Must be perfect to stay for 1-2 nights on your way from the North to the South, but no so good for the long stays (see cons below).

We loved Casa Criss so much. The hosts met us to hand over the keys and show us around and answered some questions about the area for us. The apartment exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, had a wonderful view and we really appreciated full access to the washing machine as well as somewhere secure to store our bike. The beds were very comfy - rated 10/10 by all the family members. The kids absolutely loved the large park across the street. My son, 10 is a soccer fan, and he appreciated the soccer goals, and managed to find some locals to play with him in the afternoons. The hosts were incredible - responsive, kid and knowledgeable.

Everything was excellent! Both the interior and the exterior are exactly as shown in the photos at Booking.com and the money was worth it. The staff were super polite and always willing to help, all public places were really well taken care of, the room was very comfortable and the restaurant was truly great. We had also booked the spa package -which was such a fun and relaxing experience- and they even let us stay longer than supposed. The most wonderful thing was the view, an exquisite hotel in a lovely location!
