Everything outstanding. Hitomi san and Hikaru San made me feel home, the house is just so beautiful in deep japanese style, and the cooking so tasty an original. Probably one of the best stay in Kumano Kodo.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and felt just like home. The host was friendly and incredibly helpful, making our experience even better. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, though we were unfortunate that the restaurant were closed on Tuesday. If you're looking to grab some food, make sure to arrive at the supermarket before 6 PM. However, I highly recommend dining at the host's place—experiencing home-cooked meals at Kumano was truly magical! Additionally, the host offers lunch boxes, and I was amazed by the presentation! It reminded me of the beautifully arranged meals I often see in anime. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Excellent cabin house, cosy and warm :) gives a sense of comfort living in the nature! Shino, the owner takes care of your needs and food, she is very prompt in responding and has been a great help to me! Appreciate her very much and her meals are fantastic! She owns a really cool coffeeshop just down the road too :)

It feels like at home, just your grandma is there anymore. Authentic and nice place to stay for a night if you are walking Kumano Kodo Trail. And delicious dinner and breakfast included in the accommodation price.

Cute cottage, very comfortable and well equipped! Perfect location to rest after our Kumano kodo walk. Shino was very friendly, prompt in her replies and made sure everything was in place during check in.

The place was immaculately kept, cute and cosy with an amazing view. Our hosts were the loveliest people who cooked us incredible meals. I can't recommend them enough. All their effort for such a cheap price was truly unexpected and incredibly appreciated.

The host is really nice and helpfull. I recived a dinner I did not even know it is included and felt like she really cares for her guests. I was just one night here as a break on Kumano Kodo hike so for this is perfect. Maybe a bit to expensive for a solo traveler and my room had 3 beds but for a group it's like jackpot.
