I loved staying with the wonderful japanese family. They are so friendly and they have 2 adorable children. The room is really big with tatami and futon. So comfortable. They called the tour agency for me to help me book the trip to Hate No Hama. Easy access from the ferry terminal by bus (Magari stop) and walking distance to Ifu Beach.

Tom and Rimi were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. I was able to experience raising cows and enjoyed my time there even though I was traveling alone.

Kumejima is a very nice spot to experience amazing Japanese food and enjoy it all with beautiful beach and away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and even main okinawa island. The resort is just walking distance to restaurants and the beach, bus comes straight to the door and for those who have international drivers licence can hire a mini car or scooter for small trips around the island. The room was large, spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely ocean view. Restaurant at the resort had areally nice food (sandwich was delicious and large) we shared ours and it was a perfect portion. Breakfast is a buffet breakfast with a variety of choices, the earlier you go the more choice you'll have.
