Host was very friendly and helpful. Nice communal areas. It felt open and roomy compared to our Tokyo and Kyoto tiny hotel rooms. There are three bathrooms and showers which was enough, and there was a nice place to sit and have coffee by the pond. Really nice view. Free tea and the kitchen/fridge is available to use. Free laundry machine and powder. About 50 steps of steep hill to the building, which was totally fine - you can't get the view without going up!

An authentic home restored beautifully by Dani and Evan! The touches of original furniture and vintage furnishings really set this house apart from anywhere else I have stayed in Japan. Dani and Evan were so welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local activities and restaurants. A perfect stop half way along the Shimanami Kaido Cycle Route. We loved our glamping experience. We had dinner and breakfast and all food was exceptional. An extremely steep climb up the mountain side but you will be rewarded with stunning views!

Comfortable room, great breakfast; staff gave great suggestions for restaurants. Parking was full, but we always found a free spot when coming back in the evening. The hotel is new and everything is up to date and in perfect conditions.

The rabbits are really cute and will crowd you and ask for food, I highly recommend sitting on the floor to be as close to them as possible. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel were amazing.
