Dinner and breakfast was exceptional. There was so much attention to detail in each dish as well as drink. Service was great, they had complimentary housemade cheese cookies and chocolates for valentines day which was lovely. They have a private onsen in each room.

Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! Very helpful host! Due to super heavy rain, we needed to change our plan of next spot. The host sent us several suggestions even we have already left! Dinner portion is more than enough.
