The breakfast tasted so delicious, Mr Taro from the front desk suggested it and very resonable prize. During our stay my niece was poorly, she had a fever and the night staff 2 japanese men rang the hospital for us. He even type the hospital location to my sister’s car because she struggled with reading kanji. They were all very helpful to us,they lend their thermometer even put a translator for my husband inorder to understand him. I have had a problem connecting with my sister to pick us up from the Umi Jigoku and Mr Taro was talking to us in English and all the staffs were all very helpful. Mr Taro even left the desk to ask our my niece was. Please give him an award or praise please. Many thanks to all the cleaners the onsen lady for private family bath.

We loved staying in this hotel! the architecture and art was amazing. It was really relaxing to sit in the in room onset with the view over the ocean and we both fit comfortably together. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were so lovely and although there was a language barrier, they did everything they could to make our stay great and showed us some of the sights around Beppu that we could visit.

The host is very kind. He patiently explained how to use the facilities in the house. He is thoughtful. On extremely hot days, he prepared iced tea and Popsicle for us. Besides, he even gave us some fresh vegetables he grew. The house is fancy with complete facilities, and there’s space to park 2 cars outside.

We had the whole house (2 bedrooms) to ourselves. We were a family of 4 adults, one 4 year old toddler and a 7 months baby so there were enough bedding for all of us. The host Sakura was very gracious and kind and allowed us to check in a bit earlier than 3 pm. When we arrived at the house, she was already waiting for us to pass us the key. She then quickly briefed us on the house. The whole place was very keen - and had everything of the comforts of a home away from home. The onsen is outside the house (but within the same compound but no issue). The car park is just outside the house and Beppu Park is nearby. The host Sakura was very prompt when responding to our endless questions in very good English and made very good recommendations for sushi, yakiniku and tempura bowl. We went to all 3 of them and thoroughly enjoyed the food. She even helped us make a reservation for the yakiniku restaurant as it was very difficult to book (always fully booked when we tried to book online). The house had a very nice garden to chill and relax and good for photos as well. One of the bedrooms had a collection of kimonos for adults and kids and we brought them to a park and took lots of photos wearing her kimonos. This is an excellent extra touch of Japanese hospitality. We didnt have time otherwise would have taken some photos with the kimonos in her beautiful garden. I will stay in this accommodation again if I come back to Beppu. We loved it.

We found a little gem here. We usually book business hotels, but we choose this place for the score about the cleaning. We confirm this is just one of the point this place is great to. This is truly an amazing place to stay in Beppu. The position is convenient 8minutes walk from the station, but 30 seconds from a bus stop (Beppu Tower) which take you in every place you need to go. The hotel is kept immaculate, clean and so welcoming. It use high technology to enter and keep the room locked. Everything and every detail is thought to make tourists comfortable, safe and to let them have an easy and relaxing stay. All the staff running this hostel are very friendly, helpful and some speak very good English. The bedroom was 100% super clean, well decorated and comfortable. There was no noise during the night and we slept very well. At the reception you can find all the information you looking for to visit the city and the services it has to offer. In addition there are games, free drinks and a fully equipped kitchen for the guests. We will be back for sure..and for more days! Thanks for everything, you made our trip perfect 🙏
