I have stayed in several Japanese style hotels now and love them. They have traditional Japanese floors that require shoes to be taken off and that makes the whole place very homelike. Everything is very quiet and enjoyable. There were lots of families staying there too. The scale of the hotel is very comfortable meaning that the entrance and public areas Are not voluminous and grand but, or human and approachable.

Hotel hisoca ikebukuro is ideally located in the centre of Tokyo, and offers a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace.

Superb Japanese hotel with premium facilities and premium service. Everybody was very welcoming - they also changed and proposed another room as per our request (we wanted non smoking instead of smoking). SPA is very good. Location is really good in order to understand that Tokyo is not only crowded city, but has other really nice neighbourhoods with really good restaurants. Metro is not faw away and all main districts are reachable easily. Concierges do their job perfectly. We have ordered babysitting service for our kid and it was perfectly executed.

Quiet Neighbourhood We thoroughly enjoyed a 9 night stay at Kichi01. The hosts were delightful with their communication which was very clear. We could not fault the accommodation which was spotless. It was a very special experience staying in a peaceful neighbourhood with lots of Izakaya and convenience stores nearby. We will certainly recommend to friends.
