It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨

The hosts are very lovely, taking time out to bring me to a ski rental shop and also helped to find earphones I left behind. Not to mention the very delicious breakfast! Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese homestay experience. Such a gem, and would definitely stay here if I come to Kusatsu onsen again.

Living/dining has a larger table. Bathroom with bath and separate toilet. Easy contact with lovely owner. The house is warm and inviting. 8 minute walk to Yubatake and the centre of town.

Staff was really kind and literally across the hotel in 1min walk you can find one of tthe largest onsen in town which is also my favourite one! Breakfast at this hotel is a must! Yukata and the jacket that was provided was really nice, soft and warm. Everything was very clean!

If you travel often in Japan, this lovely house is exceed my and my family members expectation. When I arrived there, I was so surprised with the facilities inside, they provided us everything we wanted, especially the onsen at the basement. Very comfortable and all of my family members were very happy to spend a night there

Clean Large Rooms that were ideal for families with small children. The breakfast was scrumptious and hearty. The three private baths with no time restrictions was phenomenal (it was the right amount for the number of available guest rooms that I never felt the need to wait or have others wait for me to finish). The hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home.
