Completely exceeded our expectations. The onsen was amazing, has an outdoor, indoor, cold pool, two saunas and three pool in different temperatures The hotel staff was really nice, the food is great and there are always little treats waiting for you everywhere We stayed in the summertime when the hotel wasn't at full capacity

Satoshi san was so helpful and dependable. We felt relieved when he extended his time and effort to pick up us from Nakazato yuzawa sta. instead of Echigo yuzawa sta. Overall, we were delighted and our expectation went beyond satisfaction. Osewa ni narimashita Satoshi san and the Staffs of Belle vue Nishiura. Maraming salamat. (Domo arigatou gozaimashita)

The staff were very kind and helpful. They picked us up at Echigo Yuzawa station when we arrived and kindly gave us lift back to the station when our trip was over. They also gave us a lift to the Ishiuchi trains station when needed. They answered all our questions and helped us booking taxis. The ryokan is very well mantained and has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast has plenty of good options. The ofuro and the onsen are small but comfortable. All in all a very nice ryokan.

The location of the hotel is excellent: it is within 3-minute walk from the train station. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean, and quiet. We are very pleasantly surprised by its meal services. The hotel has excellent breakfast and dinner: both meals offer a great variety of cuisines (both western and Japanese); the Japanese option is very good. The outdoor onsen is great. The staff are a bonus: very friendly and eager to help.

Staff and services are top notch! I was one of the best stays in Japan so far. The structure is relatively simple, but the service is so good that we felt very welcomed after our skiing trip.

Perfect accommodation, will 100% be back! Only a 2-3min walk from the chairlifts. The water pressure in the showers is really good and there are heaps of boot and glove dryers Best part is the staff who are so so friendly and go the extra mile - they dropped us off at the train station when we couldn't get a cab and were running late for our train

Our hosts were so lovely and showed incredible hospitality. The house was beautiful and right in the snow resort with easy walking distance to ski lifts. The hosts were always on call and helped us with every question, even took us to the supermarket each day for supplies. I can not thank them enough. We stayed as a family of 9 and had an incredible time. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked most meals on site. The house provided a BBQ with charcoal for grilling. Each day our hosts filled the private Onsen tub for us to soak in after a big day skiing. Bedrooms were spacious and warm with many bed options. There are several rental shops close by for rental of snowboards, ski's and snow wear. We loved our stay over Christmas 2024 and cant not thank the hosts enough for such a memorable experience. Will definitely stay again!

It was very clean and well maintained, the bedding was super comfortable and the air conditioning really helped cool down the summer heat. We were there for Fuji Rock and the location is really great for getting the shuttle bus to the venue and back. The lodge even offered a free service back to the station the day after the festival. Staff were super friendly and helpful too.

Writing this review is a double edged sword, I believe everyone visiting Yuzawa should stay here but I fear I’ll never be able to secure a reservation here again. Incredible food, perfect for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs (gluten free). The coffee is better than Melbourne’s. Location is smack bang in the middle of everything. Hospitality better than every 5 star hotel I’ve seen. Local knowledge and guidance is superb. You could not wish for a better experience.
