The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a typhoon coming as I checked into the hotel. The restaurant was only available for pre-booked guests and the staff supplied me with alternative food until the restaurant could accommodate me the following night for dinner and breakfast the next day. Without them I would have been sick with hunger. Thank you The restaurant food was amazing Japanese food which I would out have had anywhere else in Japan.

Cozy guesthouse in a rejuvenated old Japanese house. The location is perfect with only a few minutes of walk from Makurazaki station where you would start a full day of railway journey. The staff is polite and helpful, recommended to me a good dining spot. Unfortunately I was the only guest at that night and didn’t get to talk to others, which I do enjoy every time I stay in a guesthouse.
