It's a bit old hotel near the wonderful beach. But it has everything you need including a nice onsen though it was a bit stuffy there. We had wonderful ocean view room. And it took about 10 min to get there from the train station. We rode to Nati temple and the part of Kumano kodo by a local bus that depatures from the station. There is a splendid fish market where we tasted tuna. And soaked our foot in the foot bathes. The hotel give 2 bicycles for free for 30 min. It was enough to ride along the beach. We like this town Kii-Katsuura very much!

I had a wonderful stay at wakatake, the couple who runs the place is super sweet and helpful! They also have a dog called kyuuri, which I was allowed to pet. Also next to the Hotel is a very good restaurant that is kind of their sister branch, food there was amazing. But also the in house breakfast had everything you need to start the day and was delicious. They have a communal bath with onsen water which I really enjoyed. After that I went to my room and watched a DvD, as they have tons of DvD‘s and a TV+player in the room. My stay really had everything I wished for, and it was the perfect place for me to relax.

Nice view of Hashigui Rocks from women's outside Onsen. Big inside Onsen. Nice soft music and good smell everywhere in the hotel. Free parking. Spacious room. Happy hours free drinks and snacks at the lounge. Good breakfast.

It was very comfortable and clean. We felt like staying at home. There were three bed rooms, big kitchen dining room and big family room. plenty kitchen facilites. Beds were comfortable. Good airconditioning through out the house.

This place was excellent. It’s right near the train and bus station and feels brand new. Owner check me in and was lovely and helpful. The whole place feels brand new and smells like fresh wood. It is impeccably clean and beautifully fitted out.

Check-in was supposed to be by 9 p.m., but thankfully, the owner left a note on the door so we could self-check in—such a relief! The room totally exceeded our expectations. There was a bedroom, living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom—super spacious and perfect for at least two people. We had a great time and absolutely loved it!
