Excellent establishment, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The room was very cozy and clean. The environment was peaceful and calming. We enjoyed the spring bath too! The hotel offers a shuttle car to pick up and drop you off at the nearest station which is very convenient. We were welcomed by very kind staff who made our stay extra nice. Thank you! The rooms were excellently furnished at a fantastic price point. The amenities available were top class and the service from staff was excellent. Definitely a gem hidden in regional Japan. There is even a fantastic common area and sky deck that I don't recall seeing on the listing prior, that only enhances the quality of the space!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. We tried the private onsen and it was also an amazing experience. We ordered to have dinner and breakfast in our room and it was an amazing feast! They even catered vegetarian for us which is a huge bonus in Japan.

Our stay at Saikatei Jidaiya was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and hospitable, we have never seen something quite like this before. We stayed in a room with a private onsen which was squeaky clean and featured a mini garden, that made our stay perfect. If you are looking for a great ryokan experience, this is the place to go.
