Amazing old style temple with awesome road that takes you to the hotel. There is a small common kitchen you can use to prepare a small dinner or breakfast. There was also a common bathtub that was very good.

Hospitable owner. Good location during my kumano kodo ohechi hike. Near Tako train station (900m) and bus stop just at door front. Communal room and free ocha tea bag available. No restaurants nearby but the owner can cook dinner (2000yen) and breakfast (included in my booking) for you.

This ground floor house is in a very quiet area next door to a Shrine about 12 mins walk south of Shirahama station on flat roads. The house is lovely - staying here is a beautiful way to experience modern Japanese living. Large bedroom for two people with comfortable futon beds. Living room plus lounge room and large kitchen. Laundry and bathroom are down one end and very private. The owner is a lovely man who was happy to pick us up upon arrival and show us around the house.

Outstanding location and accommodation. Right at the beach, seems like a popular local surfing spot. Charming garden in front - taken care by a host - graceful older lady. Thanks you for your beautiful orchid flower that made us feel welcomed. House is spacious and has all amenities you need (fully equipped kitchen, wash machine, etc.).
