SingaporeBeautiful traditional wooden house I think, but with modern amenities, full kitchen, plenty of rooms, a really nice, homely lived in feel with a sofa, arm chairs, cushions, just a great house to spend time in with friends and family.
Outside, a well manicured garden and 50 meters away the charming, clear Yoshii river, and all around, the green and in our case, autumnal colors of the forested hills.
Shigeki Wagawa, the owner (?) who lives in a small adjacent cabin, helpful and available but discrete and not intrusive.
