The host was very friendly and offered to make us our dinner late at night after a breakdown. The next morning she arranged to get our car repaired. She couldn’t have been nicer.

Very friendly and excellent Kyrgyz food. I only know a handful of words in Kyrgyz and the old lady who I spent the most time with doesn't speak English but it worked out well

We arrived in Tamga a day earlier than planned. Farida and Abdybek were happy to accomodate a last minute booking. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view of the garden. Not much English was spoken but our hosts made a big effort to use Google translate and it was fine to communicate. The family made us feel welcome, and after an excellent breakfast the next day, Abdybek drove us to see the waterfall!

The property is very very new and nice and clean. Our nicest stay at Kyrgystan to be honest. The little cabin is very very well equipped, water pressure and temperature was perfect. The house is well heated (from the floor). Bed is comfortable. The host was responsive and provided us with all the things we needed, blankets, wifi, etc. You can see the lake from the room. I really really like the design of the cabin, the utensils, bathroom, couch, bed were all wood color and beautiful and pleasant.

    We have rented the family yurt so we had a lot of space with mor beds. With that we had English toiled and well build shower. Staff was kind and helpful in each and every request.

    Asel and her family are insanely welcoming and so generous! Due to the lack of transportation around Barskoon, Asel offered to drive me to the waterfall and also to the fairytale canyon for little money. I slept really well (I chose the mattes on the floor) and there was always so much food offered (Asel even prepared vegan food for me!) 🤩 very pleasant stay! thank you!

    A really lovely, helpful family runs this wonderful guesthouse. I stayed in the yurt and had a really warm and comfortable bed. The views through the apricot orchard to the snowy mountains was stunning. Breakfast was delicious .

    Very cozy atmosphere and the host Zarina is very lovely, helpful and supportive. The food she made for dinner (Lamb Pilaf) was delicious. She helped for making rice porridge for my friends baby.

    Simply the best. Wonderful place. Minutes walk from the lake. Close the mountains and Barskoon village. The family were so nice. Food was amazing and so filling. Best hotel we stayed in after 6 months of travel. They have a SAUNA too! Unreal!
