The villa was so beautiful! The pool was next to the beach. The rooms were super clean. Jermy and house staff did everything to make this place like home. Moet wonderfull stay of our trip in Sri Lanka. Very recommended!!

After staying at many small Sri Lankan independent hotel / guest houses, from the very north to the south this is undoubtedly the best. One of 2 reviews from me as most other being average: This place is perfectly run, perfectly maintained, great pool and great breakfasts! The evening restaurant offers a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes and after a few weeks traveling nothing beats a homemade Lasagna with a glass of Red! The Beach at 2 mins away is also nr perfect. Even with the rough seas experienced on this coast there is a northern corner that is calm enough to enjoy a good swim. Well done team and Gaby, you run a great establishment. I hope to return with many friends. T

The warm welcome, offered an ice tea on arrival and greeted with smiles and kindness. The breakfast in the morning for a small additional charge was incredible!!! it was a full local breakfast, and they would carry on feeding you until you had to leave some because it was such a huge portion of food and so so tasty. I had such a good sleep in the comfortable and quiet room. The shower was hot and everything was perfect.

We had a pleasant stay at SurfbayVilla. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast in the kitchen was good. The location is on walking distance from Dikwella beach and 5 minutes by tuk tuk to Hiriketiya. The owner (Chamila) was friendly and attentive.

We had a truly lovely stay at Nomads Hideaway. The villa is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by greenery, giving it a calm, tucked-away feeling. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this space—from the natural materials to the cozy layout and relaxing garden nook. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and available when needed, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. Although it’s just a short distance from Matara and the beach, the villa feels like a quiet sanctuary—ideal for resting, reading, or simply being present. We only stayed for two nights but felt deeply nourished by the experience. We’d happily return for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and soulful place to recharge.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling the south of Sri Lanka as group of 4 girls - we felt very safe here. Asiri Villa is immaculate, pools amazing, the staff were extremely accommodating & nothing was ever too much to ask, staff even gave us extra towels. We stayed in the apartment, it was huge and had everything we could need - bathroom is perfect, and we even had spa robes which we loved 🤣 We loved it here and didn’t want to leave. Would 100% recommend.
