Everything was just great. Huge view pool, no one around. Complete peace and unity with nature. Two wonderful guard dogs. At first we were worried about safety when living with children, but everything was fine and without any complaints. Saj was very customer-oriented and helped with all requests. Located high in the jungle, there may be problems with transport accessibility. Thank you and see you again! I highly recommend this villa.

Olinda Galle is an exquisite hidden gem down a quiet lane near the centre of the city. From the minute you walk in the rustic wooden doors, your breath is taken away by the beautiful central pool and surroundings. The decor is full of incredible antique pieces and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. This hotel has clearly been built by a very accomplished architect and interior designer. Our room had a wrap around balcony with both large sliding doors and teak shuttered windows. In the morning we opened up both and the room was filled with light and a breeze with the sound of birds in the surrounding palms. The bed was amazingly comfortable with crispy white sheets and gorgeous soft pillows. When we came up to bed (after a truly delicious supper of octopus and prawns) we found that the room had been prepared for us with the Roman blinds pulled down and the mosquito net closed around the four poster bed. No stone is left unturned here and the attention to detail from the staff was second to none.

Sister of this house was so welcoming me and had a little bit of conversation. also when i asked for the mosquito vapour the manager bought it. People there were nice to me. what even more wonderful was the room, with good facilities and special design.

The stay was planned very last minute but still managed to be absolutely perfect! The team was very helpful, friendly and kind. We were greeted with cold lime soda on arrival. Our room was a dream! Spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable. There is a also kitchen equipped with the basic facilities. The view is beautiful, looking over the pool and so many palm trees. It’s not on the beach, so either you walk to Unawatuna Beach (around 30 min) or you can make arrangements with the tuktuk driver that works for the hotel. The location itself is very peaceful and quiet so if you are looking to relax fully, this is the place to be. The pool area was also lovely and clean. Also, three rabbits hopping around was a pleasant surprise :) A short 4-5 min walk leads to the main street where there is a market, bakery, a bit further down a bank. All in all, it was absolutely wonderful and would have loved to stay longer!

The best resort in south Sri Lanka!! It was a pleasure to stay in this resort, the facilities are amazing, and brand new. The staff are incredibly polite with very good English speaking. They made the check-in process very nice & smooth and helped recommend places to see and visit on the South Coast. My room was also very comfortable, considering most places I've stayed in Sri Lanka the bed tends to be a little harder, but the rooms in Terra Resort had the comfiest bed & pillows. The location is also a short 5ish min walk to the main beach of Kabalana which makes it really easy to get around. The reception also has tuktuk call services too, that come to pick you up from the resort if you want to get into town or go surfing. I highly recommend this place if it's your first time in Sri Lanka, Or if you looking for an earthy boutique-style place to stay, it made my journey to this country all the sweeter.

I loved it here. Basic room with a comfy bed and mosquito net, what else do you need. The owner is very nice and helpful. Very lovely communal area with beach view with outdoor furnitures. If you want to have exquisite, delicious local food Darshi will prepare them to you at a reasonable price.
