I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. This place was absolutely breathtaking—truly a dream! The house, designed by the host, was just as stunning. You can immediately tell they have incredible taste. Wow! The hosts were beyond kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of their garden, and it was nothing short of magical. If you can name a fruit or vegetable, they grow it! Breakfast was a feast—fresh, flavorful, and straight from the garden. Every bite was pure joy! All in all, this stay was unforgettable. Before we left, we each planted a durian tree, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years to see it grow. If you're looking for a special place to stay, this is it!

We loved the views, the service and the ‘home away from home’ feel. The hotel manager was absolutely incredible and the best host we have had in Sri Lanka. Thanks for having us! Just note the accomodation is quite far away from Nuwara Eliya town, and is more of a remote getaway.

We stayed at Thuruliya Hotel for one night and loved it. The hotel has incredible views, and we enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and tea fields on the way from Nanu Oya station. The staff were very kind, and the restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes.

Amazing location and experience. Room was beautiful and they accommodated breakfast on the terrace which was very special and much appreciated. The tea factory tour was great and amazing pool.
