Very nice and relaxed place managed by equally nice and warm people. The manager of Thambu Illam, Mathu ensured that all our requirements met precisely and Sudha ensured that our stay at the property was comfortable. Both gentlemen said call their personal phone numbers anytime if we need any assistance. The team was very friendly with our children and the kids did not want to leave.

I booked this property for my parents and their cousins. They really enjoyed the stay. They told me that the manager and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. They also mentioned that the breakfast was as really tasty with a good spread of authentic SL food.

We planned to stay there for one night, but ended up staying four. It’s very clean and has enough space to spend time either on the big balcony or in the living room. Host family is lovely and helps with everything you need - from ordering pizza to doing your laundry. During the sunset you can check out the fruit bats, who live close by. This place has a very good vibe and I definitely recommend.
