Best expirence you will have in sri lanka ! First of all the house itself is a peace of art ! You can see the hostes think of every small detail and alot ofoney was invested to make sure gusstes are happy ! From the uniqe decoration to the tje built of the house and matireals of huge stones and wood all over rhe house huge speaker system the mosf beautofull jungle view i had ever seen ! And most importent the hosts ! Lovely couple that you can feel the love and hospitalety they give to the guestes from high qualify diverss meales made by a chef how is the owner to the rides trips and all requesr we had they did more then we ever expected and with a huge smile every timr !! Surly the besf faciliys best foid best view and best hospitalety i had ever recived ! No words will be enoghu ! Thank you jani and malu ! We are for sure going to be your guestes soon ! After a hike through the rainforest with Sunil we were welcomed into his house by the family and Sunil’s wife presented us with a fabulous meal . Similarly , the following morning , after a very early start we hiked in the forest and saw most of the birds we had wanted to see . Sunil is an excellent guide - enthusiastic and very knowledgeable . We were then treated to a great breakfast at Sunil’s house .

This wasn't our first stay, so we obviouly like this place. The manager Anand couldn't have been kinder. He looked after us like super VIPs. He was everywhere making sure that we were fine. A big thank you to him. We forgot a swim suit and he offered to send it by courier service to our next hotel, which he did. The hotel itself is small and not for everyone. The rooms needs a complete rework - they don't do this place justice. They are in a poor state. But the location is incredible and I hope, this will never change - please never cut ANY of the trees! This is the biggest asset- the jungle and all its noises, the beautiful light filtering through the canopy.

We stayed in Birds Paradise Hotel for three nights and birding around Sinharaja. The staff are very friendly and always helpful to our needs. And I was satisfied with the breakfast and dinners in the hotel which comforted me whenever I needed. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The space at 4 Seasons Holiday Home was amazing, it was a large house all rooms were spacious. The outside area where we spent much time was lovely, looking onto jungle trees. Mali was a wonderful host making sure our stay was comfortable. She gave us lots of information about the area and where we could go. Mali and her husband Janeke took us in their car to show us all the local restaurants and hotels in Ratnapura where we could eat. Even offered to take us to show the migrating birds settling on the phone wires in the evening, however we opted out as it was raining heavily. Mali is so kind and considerate we will not forget 4 Seasons Holiday Home this is where to stay while visiting Ratnapura and just a short walk to town.
