The owners couldn’t have been more helpful - from helping me find the place to bringing me juice and a snack when I arrived! They cooked such a lovely breakfast where I sat on the balcony area watching the nature. The room itself was massive and had everything I needed, so comfortable.

Location was great! Mr. Janaka, the owner and host of the property showed absolute professionalism and an extremely kind attitude, a true Military Leader. The caretakers Suranga and his wife were absolutely amazing. The hospitality, flexibility and caring nature was beyond expectations. Only drawback - you would never want to leave this place, it grows in you and you’ll feel it’s home! 😊

We completely loved this accomodation. Location was perfect, as we came by train and left by bus, it was walking distance everywhere. Whole property is super cool with nice touches that makes it very cozy. Room was extremely spacious with very comfortable huge bed. I liked balcony with nice seating area, which we did not have time to use :) . Whole style of hotels gives you nice colonial vibes, which is so typical for this town, so it just perfectly completed whole feeling from this Sri Lankan historical gem. Stuff was super nice always have nice words for us and helped us with all the questions we had.

It was our very first night in Sri Lanka. As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

Friendly and super helpful staff. Beautiful boutique Hotel. Close to the beach, restaurant, surf etc. We really enjoyed the yoga they provided. We will for sure be back!

Such an amazing view from the shared terrace, with the ocean just a few meters away. The room was very clean and the host family were nice and helpful. It was hard to believe the peacefulness in the garden given the busy central street behind the property. Would definitely stay here again.
