This is paradise on Earth! A human-sized hotel with 13 rooms and numerous services. The staff is very helpful, always very friendly and willing to assist. The rooms are functional and decorated with attention to detail. Amazing views of coconut trees, the pool, and the Indian Ocean. The beach is very well equipped, not crowded, right at the hotel's doorstep, with sun loungers, canopy beds, and staff to monitor and assist guests. The place is very calm and relaxing. The hotel is like a secluded island in an area that doesn't have much interest in itself. The highlight: the restaurant serves excellent food, worthy of a starred restaurant, catering to all tastes at reasonable prices. The breakfast is also excellent, nothing like the bland international food of big hotel chains. The chef was attentive to our needs and tried to fulfill every wish we had. What's more, for my husband's birthday, we were offered a cake and a bottle of wine. We really felt pampered in Ahu Bay. Thanks again to all staff for this memorable holiday!

We loved everything about the property, right from the check in, to check out.. the family who is running the property are exceptionally sweet and helpful. Food is so delicious and the rooms and facilities are mind blowing. It was like home away from home. Haven’t been so comfortable on any trip as much as we were at happy man village. Everything about " EIT Masky " is likeable. (1)..: Starting with meeting your hosts ..: Mr. and Mrs. Madusanka ,who cannot do enough for you ..: making you feel 'at home', immmediately. Very good communication skills... we had great /interesting converstions about Sri Lanka, the surrounding Cultural sites in Ambalangoda (to which they'll spend as long as YOU want, taking you to them..at no charge !), provision of welcoming drink/fruits/warm hospitality,invitation to request, of them, if anything's lacking...which there is not ! (2)..Their "EIT Masky.." apartment ..: great wide balcony along your entire 2nd floor apartment...: huge living area greets you...: beautifully designed interior,modern /new appliances..: the air conditioned bedroom to the left..fridge/kettle/complimentary fruit/coffee, teas, etc. Great ,comfortable,large bed . To the right of the living room..: efficient/all essential appliances..: kitchen. Bathroom adjacent..: outstanding in size and modern ! Fans in large living room...no problem cooling the area, despite its size. I wish them every success with "EIT Masky"...it's a new venture for them, so I want very badly, they do well. Highly recommend to all other travellers to Ambalangoda . Plus..: the charge ,per night, for what you get....outstanding value !

Fabulous breakfast 3 of our party opted for the Sri Lankan option and were not disappointed. Loved the fresh juice and fruit alongside the string hoppers and curry of which there was plenty.

Nice light new clean accommodation with spacious terrace and private entrance situated in a tranquil neighborhood off the main road. Good bathroom with hot shower. Large bed with an excellent mosquito net. Run by a friendly family doing their absolute best to make you having a great time. The hostess prepares excellent meals on request. If we have had time we surely would have stayed longer.

Everything, could not fault it. Great location, perfect room, excellent breakfast, and Waranga is a great host. Would have loved to have stayed longer but it was fully booked.
