We were really looking forward to our trip to Sri Lanka from Spain. We planned everything ourselves. We didn't do it through an agency, I was looking at Booking and Urban Galle Villa had very good reviews and we decided to go for it and we were right. It is located in the middle of the typical streets of Galle with lots of greenery and tranquility. It is a two-storey, four-bedroom, colonial-style family house, which we almost filled because there were 7 of us. We were the only guests for those 5 days and we were literally pampered by Xabi (he said we should call him that to make communication easier), his brothers and his mother, who helped Xabi with the breakfasts, which were all prepared to our liking. The times we went out early, like on safari or whale watching, they even prepared tuppers for us to take with us. Xabi was always there for whatever we needed. He really made us feel at home. If we ever come back to the island, which is quite possible, we will definitely stay at Urban Galle Villa again. In these days after our departure a swimming pool was being finished, which will give the facility more value and will certainly make the stay more enjoyable. We can only say: Thank you very much for everything, Xabi.

A new resort, in a central location. The room was very quiet, considering it's near the main road. Host is super kind. There is a motorbike parking area, free water and tea, lounge to rest, and the balconies are awesome.

The best house I've stayed in during my 12-day trip to Sri Lanka! Asintha and his wife made it a home for me and my friends. I wish I could have stayed there for at least a week. Thank you, Asintha! I'll choose to stay in Villa Emma again when I visit Galle next time.

Super nice staff, modern rooms and hotel design, very clean rooms, great breakfast - prepared with a lot of care & with local flavour. Location is also good, few minutes walking from the beach and in a quiet little area surrounded by nature.

Location is perfect. The only hotel in the beach, there is no one a couple of kilometers each side. For comparison, if you go to Unawatuna you will see the difference, the very negative one. Service. The staff is very nice. Restaurant food is gorgeous. Have compared it with the best restaurants in Galle. Beach and view from the balcony are very nice.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Tropical House. They have a super great breakfast, an amazing pool and friendly staff! It is nicely located in a quiet area not far from the main street. We truly enjoyed this wonderful oasis!

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the pleasant and positive hotel staff and immediately checked in. The hotel is small and cozy. I would like to note the cleanliness - everything is shiny, the rooms are cleaned daily. the room has a full standard set: WiFi, safe, minibar, hair dryer, minimal set of dishes. You can ask the staff for everything you need. our reservation was with breakfast, it takes a long time to cook, but it's delicious! my personal recommendation is shakshuka and avocado toast. The breakfast menu is small, and I got a little tired by the end of the trip, but it seems to me that it's like this almost everywhere. excellent location, everything is close: the beach, shops, restrooms, and a currency exchange office

Great location in a small, peaceful and very smiling community. Gorgeous setting by the lagoon. Close to the main road with plenty of great food options. Walking distance from a lovely buddhist temple. Delicious breakfast with lots of fresh mango in season!! Room super clean and tidy.
