"Real glamping" in a Sri Lankan paradise right by a huge Lagoon with the sounds and sights of nature all around is exactly what I came for. Triple protected tents with all the facilities you can imagine. This expierence was such a world apart from my life back in Europe. Thanks to all the wonderful staff that made my stay all the more pleasant. Especially the host JD who has an eye for detail. Should have booked afew more nights here.

We loved our stay here! The villa was wonderful, clean, spacious, lovely pool and we enjoyed the delicious meals which were served on our private terrace and were prepared by a chef both trained in Sri Lankan and European dishes. The staff was very friendly, unobtrusive and the house was a great place to rest. German owners - very easy to work with. We also saw baby turtles on the beach and this made this place even more special. Swimming in the sea was no problem. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will come back one day for sure.

Beautiful place, full of beautiful well-kept plants. Very clean cottages, great swimming pool. Very close to a wonderful beach - it is the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka - You can watch turtles nearby. The owners are very, very nice and helpful. The Lookout Lodge is simply amazing. It’s an oasis which has been developed with much love and care. The people running it are wonderful, the rooms are clean and stylish and the swimming pool is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to the (empty) beach and a 10 min walk to the turtle rescue center. It only has four rooms so it’s quiet and private. You have a unique view of the lagoon with all kinds of animals, and peacocks that love to use the roof of the lodge!

The Sea Bay Inn feels like one of a kind. The owner and the complete staff have been so nice and welcoming, it felt like home. The room was new, modern and very clean. We've been able to reach the closest supermarket by foot easily and even walked to the city center. The closest beach to the Sea Bay Inn is just down the road and absolutely beatiful. There are not many spots outside of direct sunshine, but the beach is not very crowded. If you need any travel advice around town the owner will help you swiftly, her son is also available with his TukTuk. All in all a very pleasent stay and we would love to come back!
