The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and great showers. The towels were nice large hotel style. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Morocco to date. We originally booked for one night but stayed for two. So got to enjoy two different rooms.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the location of the Raid is excellent. The raid has a very nice terrace where you can eat breakfast. Breakfast was very tasty and included omelette as well as the normal breads etc. The Raid is run by a lovely family who were so friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this Raid if you are staying in Essaouira.

Hotel is in a wonderful location with a nice roof terrace. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very obliging.

We really recommend a stay at Riad Ghazal. It was very tidy and clean. We had our own bathroom and enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was very good and everyone was lovely. You can also play pool billard at the riad.

Location! Amazing staff and breakfast!

It’s a quaint riad in the heart of the medina. The rooms are so chic and lovely and so so clean. The location couldn’t be better. You have everything in walking distance. It’s quiet and peaceful. The WiFi works fabulously. But more than all of this it’s the people that make the place. Meryem, Saeed and Amina are the soul of the place. They make you feel so at home. Every need of yours is met. Everything they can arrange for you they will. Every request catered too if it’s possible with them. I was a solo traveller from India that went for the Gnaoua festival and I was lucky to find a last minute reservation here. No matter the wee hours of the morning I came back gentle Saeed was there to open the doors and check if you needed anything. Sweetest Amina in the morning prepared breakfast and got your laundry organised and cleaned the rooms. Meryem the most adorable efficient yet so so warm ran the place with so much joy ! I felt so at home there and truly showered with a lot of love. I wish I had more time to spend there but I was out most of the times. Go here not just for a place to stay but to experience the true nature of the Eassouiaran hospitality. I will definitely be back there.

A Perfect Escape in Essaouira! We absolutely loved our stay at Mama Lova! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome – check-in was a breeze, and we instantly felt right at home. Each morning started with a fantastic breakfast spread, full of delicious options that kept us happily fueled for a day of exploring. And let me tell you, the beds were so comfortable! We ended up sleeping a solid 10 hours the first night, which is unusual for us – a true testament to how cozy it was. The rooftop was something special, with incredible views over the city – honestly, I think it’s the best view in all of Essaouira. We spent so much time up there just soaking it all in. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better either; we were close to everything, making it easy to stroll around and enjoy all the charm of the city. The entire property was spotless, well-kept, and had such a lovely, welcoming feel – and for a very reasonable price too! Our room was not only impeccably clean and cozy, but it was also well soundproofed, which gave us a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. Even the water pressure was excellent – a small detail, but it really added to the comfort! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly everywhere, right up to the rooftop, which made it easy to stay connected while enjoying those stunning views. Mama Lova is one of those places that you leave already wanting to come back. For anyone looking for a friendly, beautiful place to stay in Essaouira, I couldn’t recommend it more. We left with happy hearts, big smiles, and can’t wait to return!

Fatima and her dedicated team manage a supberb riad. The location is excellent, at the outer edge of the medina and a short walking distance from a gate leading to a big parking area (paid). Everything in this riad is nice and comfortable: The decor in common areas and the rooms, the beds, the terrace etc. Wifi is very good as well as the breakfast. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere for accommodation.

The design of the apartment is fantastic and the view spectacular. The host ist very helpful and friendly.
