Zara Village is a beautiful, secluded resort with a beautiful pool and a fantastic view. The food is freshly prepared and really delicious. Different activities, like guided tours to the Lokobe Nature Reserve can be directly booked with the resort. Also very fast internet.

This is a million star stay, close to nature and tranquil. A little paradise. Do not expect fancy facilities, you are in the middle of nature, with a private beach, to enjoy the sea, the forest and the Milky Way.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. This place is a hidden gem 💎 Out of the buzzing hell ville area and close to Lokobe national park, this place offers all you need if you're looking to connect with nature. Upon arriving we didn't know that this was a hospitality school, but the staff was so nice and attentive, which made our stay even better. Thanks for having us, I'll be back for sure!

It was clean and in a convenient spot in town. Staff were great and helpful, and the dinner / brekky was prompt. The wifi was also really good and it was just the exact type of stay I hoped for.
