This place is amazing. From the moment you arrive on the boat is a whole experience. Gerard the owner and the rest of the staff are super friendly. Great food from the restaurant and good prices (many vegetarian and vegan options available very yummy and homemade). The view and facilities from the hotel are great, the garden amazingly well maintained and trees with lemurs around. Big rooms and very clean. Definitely recommended. Ps. Price for the boat to get there is extra 13 euros roundtrip per person.

Very welcoming staff and a lovely location. A special mention to Ornella who really looked after us. The lemurs come at sundown for bananas which is really special and was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The chef provides options based on what he has & cooks tasty dishes including fresh fish & prawns. The owner ( Jean Michel) was very helpful and arranged 3 days of Scuba diving for us as well as a trip to Lokobe to see the wildlife. I would recommend for a few days of peace & tranquility.

We had a great one night stay at Les bungalows d'Ambonara, quiet location, surrounded by a nice garden, delicious breakfast at the pool, lovely and helpful staff. Can only recommend!

The staff were fantastic, helpful and incredibly friendly. They helped us with any travel issues we had and ensured we were well provided for. The rooms were comfortable with a fan and the view was incredible. It’s right by the national park and the hotel arranged a tour guide for us for a fantastic and fair rate. It was clean and in a convenient spot in town. Staff were great and helpful, and the dinner / brekky was prompt. The wifi was also really good and it was just the exact type of stay I hoped for.
