The friendly, welcoming staff and management makes this place special. We had a good, spacious room with nice balcony overlooking the back garden/swimming pool. The balcony doesn't have a cover/roof, so it does gets very wet when it rains. The bathroom is very good, with a nice walk in shower. We had breakfast, made to order in the courtyard, which we enjoyed.

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s.

We loved everything about our stay - its a perfect introduction to Penang's historical center and that authentic vibe. Our favourite part was the interior - the house is full of unique details and original touches. Breakfast was our other favourite part - every morning you get greeted by amazing staff who prepared simple but delicious spread. Location - 100% perfect!

They did a fantastic job of restoring the Blue Mansion. The entire property is gorgeous. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King bed, and well appointed period furnishings. It felt so special to be in such a historic place and the staff were friendly and helpful. They served breakfast in the courtyard with made to order offerings (the pancake with salted coconut and burnt sugar sauce was excellent). We also loved listening to the guzheng performance in the courtyard during the evening. The only regret was we managed to only book one night(it was fully booked).

Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Penang Marriott hotel. The service provided by Ivan and the team was exceptional. Everybody was attentive and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay even more special. The location of the hotel perfect, away from the hustle of George Town. This is hosting at its core. The Apartment is super sleek and well-decored, complete with the amenities --- oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, 4-burner stove, and very nice quality plates and bowls and glasses and cups. It is equipped with fully-functioning washer and dryer, a baby cot, even a high chair for young children. You just can tell that the host is not just renting out for the sake of renting with bare minimum, but truly rent and host the guests who stay in the Apartment. Love the balcony that faces directly to the pool. The pool itself is very beautiful and nice. Resort-style pool. The Ferringhi beach is right behind the Apartment, accessible in 2 minutes walk through the back gate of the Apartment. There are also children playground for the kids. Kids would surely love staying in this Apartment. The water-heaters are working well. The toilets have shower sprays that are complete with shower heads (most shower sprays in Malaysia are not equipped with shower heads). The bathroom in the main bedroom has double vanity too. There are many mini markets and restaurants nearby the Apartment complex, but you just need to go outside by the front of the Apartment. There are also small cafes and restaurants on the beach side behind the Apartment complex. Love staying in this Apartment. Would surely come back the next time visiting Ferringhi Beach.
