I booked it cause it looked so charming and full of character, it exceeded expectations, every single thing is a carefully selected vintage gem, I could spent a week just contemplating the beauty of the building and the furnishings. Super clean, lovely receptionist, she's so welcoming and helpful. Very quiet, had a great sleep. Free coffee/tea is a huge plus for me, great place to meet other like-minded travellers as Taiping is quite off the beaten track. Right in the town centre, 15 minutes walk to the train station and 10 to the lake. Would definitely recommend it

Azmil who was previously a manager at 5-star-hotel in Langkawi- even let us checked-in earlier than the appointed time and thoughtful enough to show us around the house and explained every little details. I give a high rate for hospitality. Host was kind enough to allow us checked in a little early and pretty responsive to all of my queries prior and during our stay. There are some points to note for those who wish to stay here. Good points first... As at time of my stay, the unit is looking very new. It looks recently renovated with new paint and tiles all around. Nice touch of decor and necessity. Kitchenware and all about kitchen is also commendable. A new fridge, filtered water dispenser; with cold and hot water outlet - and plenty of cookware. Guests are also supplied with generous amount of complementary instant coffee and tea (and crackers). The water supply is boosted by an electrical pump so its good consistent pressure in all bath as well as kitchen. Bed, pillow, blankets - comfy! Bunk beds are sturdy metals. Wifi works - good enough. Spacious overall interior. And everything inside was clean

Everything is perfect... nice place to stay.. the living room, bed room, washroom, kitchen area, dining area all awesome... very clean, neat and comfortable...imagine after long drive, once entered the house, u feel very relax and resting... all are perfect..
