I had an absolutely amazing experience at Bahia Marin Vilankulo! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The location is simply stunning – breathtaking ocean views, pristine beaches, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect getaway. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. The food was outstanding! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of delicious seafood options. The breakfast, enjoyed with a view of the ocean, was a highlight of my stay. The hotel also offers fantastic activities – from island excursions to snorkeling and sunset dhow cruises. Whether you want adventure or relaxation, this place has it all. Overall, Bahia Mar exceeded all my expectations. If you’re visiting Vilankulo, this is the place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

Brilliant place to stay, right next to the seaside. The owner and staff were all very welcoming. Seafood and matapa at the restaurant were exquisite. There was also a handy dive shop around the corner. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Stunning location. Fully IAW the published pictures. 30m or so from the beach. Perfect views from your bed through giant panoramic windows. Pedro @ reception/bar is very helpful, e.g. organizing trip to Bazaruto Island. Warm water. Mosquito-nets. Obrigado!

The breakfast was delightful. Fresh fruit every morning was an absolute pleasure. Eggs and bacon to perfection. Staff always pleasant, happy and respectful. A happy casual setting for a relaxed breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and clean. A great place for a holiday, especially for people who like to relax in a place where there is no crowd. Nice local people and staff, especially Benny - the star of Vilanculo. His smile made my vacation the best in many years. Delicious breakfasts, fish and crabs for dinner overlooking the ocean are something I will miss in the middle of winter in Europe.
