This was a last minute booking as the hotel we had booked was terrible. The staff where fanatic, it was my wife's birthday and I happened to mention this in passing the staff brought us a bottle of wine the evening we checked in with a little birthday note. Then the following day they brought us a brownie with a candle and sang happy birthday!!!! This really made our day the staff went above and beyond. The hotel was very nice rooms where very nice and clean.

My son and me stayed 1 day in this elegant vila while our road trip. Everything was ok. The owners were very friendly, kindly and welcoming! Our room was at first floor, full furnished, comfortable, quiet and an awesome view. Perfect Breakfast! Highly recommended!!

Plenty of space for our family. Loved the outdoor seating. Really well equipped, and the arcade machine was a real hit with our children. The location was peaceful and handy for visiting the local attractions. Disappointed we didn't have time to use the bikes.

    Rotorua Forest Getaway is owned by thoughtful and caring owners . The kitchen appliances, utensils and supplies were one of the best amongst all our stays around NZ. They even provided high chairs, travel cots and baby tub which are ideal for families with babies / toddlers. It is clean and located at a quiet street, yet located at a conenient location. We'll definitely come again.

    Hot pools were lovely, 3 different temperatures to choose from. Very family friendly, plenty for the kids to keep entertained at the playground. we met some other families who were all lovely. All round good vibes for a budget get away.

    Loved our stay. The bathrooms were so clean which gave me peace of mind having my children use the facilities. My kids had the best time with the Bouncy Castle, Heated pool, Playground and enjoyed the whole experience with the dinosaurs. The staff are all so friendly and most importantly we felt safe - a real family vibe. We have stayed at many other places in Rotorua but this is by far the best for families with younger children.

    Loved the family/ child friendly room, amenities and the location was so picturesque! Was so relaxing with the lovely views away from the hustle and bustle of the city! We so enjoyed our stay and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Very cost effective especially when you want to enjoy the sights, sounds and many fun/ scenic places to visit in Rotorua! Loved the restaurants too!
