We had a great time here at what was the start of our trip to the Coromandel. We were met by Alby, a more friendly, helpful person you are unlikely to meet. The room was well lit and large enough to spread out and resort our bags from the flights. The view from the window was wonderful, and sitting in the hot tub and reading on the deck made for an enjoyable stay. Although it did not cause us any problems, (and I am over seventy), be aware that the property is near the top of a steep hill, and there are a few steps to the different chalets.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ areas, Dickson Holiday Park is located in Thames. Just a 5-minute walk from the waterfront, the property offers unlimited free WiFi per guest.

Loved the location tucked away from the main road with easy access to Thames and the rest of Coromandel. The park had everything, ample toilets, showers and cooking facilities including BBQ. I was very impressed with the waste management and ease of checking in.

Very spacious, clean and great facilities. Host kindly left us milk, cookies, tea and coffee. Great spot on the wharf and close to everything. Quite too. What’s not to like.
