Owaka Lodge was a great overnight stop, in a small hamlet. It was clean, plenty of hot water. Gaynor is an excellent hostess, very chatty and the buns were a bonus

Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion.

Great location and wonderful set up. The resturant was nice after a long day of travel.

The motel was near the beach and the local restaurant. It was spotlessly clean with thoughtful provision of toiletries and also milk, tea and coffee. The location was peaceful with a tranquil atmosphere.

The Bottom cottage is a lovely old house set high on a hill on a sheep farm. So cozy, comfortable and well appointed. The view from the cottage is sweeping - green fields, the river and the ocean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all you needed, the living room was comfortable, good wifi, good showers. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities and the garden.
