This was a real gem. The house standing at the base of Mount Tatanaki was stunning. Chris and Steak were the most welcoming and lovely couple and our room was beautiful. We hope to return some day. It's a wildlife haven and we were lucky to see a hare and a hedgehog on the lawn. Breakfast was delicious.

The location was absolutely amazing - right at the beach, next to a playground with lots of toys in the sand pit, water / beach views from the deck. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was enough space in the bed room to set up a baby cot. The kitchen was well equipped and offered free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a small bottle of milk. The fridge and freezer are nice and big. The interior of our self contained unit looked fairly new and it was all clean. We could park our car right next to our cabin. Absolutely loved staying here and would love to come back sometime. Highly recommended for a relaxed tie away with the family at a lovely, safe west coast beach ❤️
