    We Loved that the lodge was easy to get too. Our 2 bedroom apartment was so warm. heaps of space for the kids and it had everything, we needed. Location is great. 5mins into porirua city Centre, 1min walking distance to the train station. Would stay here again.

    It was a last minute booking due to a sudden death in the family. The set out of the 3 bedroom appt was perfect for us. It's in a very handy location and lovely friendly, caring Management.

    Motel location very good, just off the main road, quiet. Family room spacious over 2 floors, for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Clean tidy rooms, clean linen, kitchen, bathroom facilities very good. Will book same room again. Nearby family friendly park, stream, safe, refreshing. Novelty for our family were the trains passing, minimal sound, no trains through the evening until morning.

    The furnishing was good and the bed was comfy. There was a park at the entrance for children and the nearby stream had eels that kids would also enjoy. About 1Km walk to Sprig & Fern restaurant which was handy. Location would also suit many as it was right next to a railway station that went to Wellington CBD (and access for business or the cableway to the Botanical Gardens). The motorway to Wellington (8 mins) was also very close. The Botanical Gardens and especially Picnic Cafe are worth a go - very nice food and good service.

    The motel was conveniently located near Takapu Rd station, making day trips into Wellington easy. The room was big enough for our family, including two energetic kids. The best feature was the staff, who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.
