What I liked: The room was very spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and the location was both ideal and original. Everything is very well looked after. The hosts were very helpful, and I really appreciated the easy access to the outside at night directly from the room to enjoy stargazing.

We stayed in Menards Ecosanctuary for three nights, which was an amazing experience! The rooms are nice and cosy, the view is breathtaking and the kitchen contains everything needed. The outdoor hot tub is great! Amy & Jason are really lovely friendly hosts. We'll be back!

The room was very warm, with heated floors! The bed was very comfortable, we slept for 10 hrs, which is unheard of for us! The decor was luxurious, it had obviously been redecorated recently! We will definitely recommend to others & come again!

The stay was so nice and clean!! It was very peaceful and quiet. The beds were very comfy and really appreciated the electrical blankets (very nice touch when it gets cold). There is also a grocery store five mins away, which is very convenient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay, whether it be for a nice getaway or for people travelling!!! 😊

    The location was fantastic for what we were wanting along with the value for cost was absolutely amazing! It was a relaxed child friendly property with everything we needed. Was super easy welcome with the keys in a lock box so easy to tidy and check out. So happy with everything 10/10!!

    We've stayed at this property half a dozen times over the years as it's a good, family-friendly base halfway between our home in Te Anau and Christchurch. Sure, it's dated and in need of a refresh, but its good layout means it works for all kinds of guests - families, couples, tour groups. This was the only time we felt it fell well short of meeting our expectations for a few reasons...

    House was so big and clean. Also owner was so kind and grate communication. I’m sorry about I couldn’t respond well. we had one infant, there’s fire gate, plug cover, cot, high chair etc child proof was already ready for us. Thank you so much.
