Charming accommodation in a quiet and beautiful place of the desert. You are on top of the dune but it is very easy to reach by car. The room is like a cabin very cozy with private bathroom, everything is very clean, and the staff is very kind and helpful. The zone for the meals is beautiful, with a chill out place, and the food is abundant and delicious. It's a wonderful place to stay, we recommend it and we will come back for sure.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the city.

If you love the great outdoors you will love it here! Such a laid-back and relaxing camp to be in. It’s small; not too many tents and not many lights and is so quiet. Said is a friendly, warm and helpful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him! He comes from a family of Bedouins and still lives in the desert himself so you know you are getting an authentic experience. The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable and transport to and from the meeting point was FREE, which is awesome because we didn’t have a 4x4 to get there. We really loved our stay at SandGlass Camp.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Our stay at the desert camp was truly unforgettable! The camp was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also great, both dinner and breakfast offered great variety and delicious flavors, perfect after a day of adventure. Stargazing at night was magical, with the clear desert sky filled with countless stars—a truly mesmerizing experience. During the day, the thrill of dune bashing was an absolute adrenaline rush, adding excitement to the tranquility of the desert. Highly recommend this camp for anyone looking for a perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and stunning natural beauty!

We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.

Our stay at La Duna Desert Camp was truly unforgettable. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. The dune bashing tour was a real highlight — exciting and well organized. We also really enjoyed the camel ride during sunset; it was peaceful and beautifully arranged. The tent itself was unique, comfortable, and beautifully designed, giving the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend La Duna Desert Camp to anyone looking for an authentic desert experience in Oman.

I usually don't review stays but for this one I'm glad to make the exception. The bedouin camp is simply an awesome place to stay, not just because of the location and great tent camp, also (mostly) because of the host and his family. They were so open, friendly, and spent so much time with us. The host proudly showed us his animals, we were lucky to see a 1 day old camel, and then treated us on some dune bashing. After that, a great diner was served, and we met many many of his family members at the camp fire. Thanks again Badr!!
