The gardens are just so beautiful and lush. We loved the pool area and also did the small hike up the hill just behind the hotel to take in the beautiful scenery. The restaurant has very good food and also the cocktails are amazing. We arrived on the bus, so we took a cab when we wanted to go into town. Would have loved to stay a bit longer and maybe splash out and book one of the poolside rooms that have hammocks and little patios. Also El Valle has plenty to do, so three nights went by too quickly!

The owner is very helpful and approachable and answers all queries even before arrival. It was a lovely reprieve after the business of Panama City.
