I booked my stay at Akilpo on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Run by brothers Benji and Esteban, they are so knowledgeable and generous with their time in helping you plan your trekking and activities around Huaraz. The rooms have super comfortable beds and nice, hot showers. Breakfast every morning includes fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes and eggs. Very welcoming space. Staff are incredible. Paul can speak 7 languages comfortably and gives the best and honest trekking advice. Easy to get washing done. Small but lovely breakfasts. Really loved this place and thought it was good value for money!
