Family hotels and homes in Quinua

Melissa, and her brother, are incredibly helpful. She helped me book a tour and a taxi, she made recommendations on where and what to eat. It's rare to get such great attention! The hostel is very clean and has a nice rooftop terrace, clean showers with hot water and one of the best equipped (and cleanest!) kitchen I have seen in a hostel. There are tons of places to have breakfast or dinner in the surroundings, including a local market. The hostel was very quiet during my stay: I was the only guest while I was there. But I'd definitely sleep there again if I went back to Ayacucho!

It was a great shock to arrive at the hotel. Firstly, the front door is barred. Secondly, the neighborhood is not safe, according to a Police officer that gave us directions. We had to move immediately to another place. The young Man at the reception was not prepared to receive the guests.
