I really really enjoyed to be here! Wonderful place, you are literally living in the river, which is supernice, you can chill in the hammock listening nature, or you can paddle around the area! The people who running the place are sooo kind and beautiful people! They are really helpful with everything, and the food is exceptional! There's so much love in the place, I really really liked it, and I will definitely come back sometime! :))

The host was very accommodating and very helpful all throughout our stay. He made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

very nice swimming pool with good bar. Our hotel room had an excellent 270 degrees view of the city and the river. ask for room 701. the breakfast is ok, the staff is very helpfull
