Everything! Casalay is a perfect get away from the hussle & bussle of Manila. It is perfectly situated and gves pictureques views. The room is lovely. The bathroom big and water pressure very good. Beautiful nice resort with good swimming pool area and bar. Room was big and cozy, ac was good, bed was big and bathtoom was good. There is fridge and coffee making facility in the room. There is patio where you can sit and relax and admire the beautiful garden. Location is by the beach which means that the views are excellent. It is easy to reach both main village and Sabang either by the jeepney or motorbike taxi..around 5-8 minutes to both of them. It is located in the end of side street which means that there is no road noise. Breakfast was excellent and healthy.

Ate Macrina is so accommodating, and so is Charles. Although she was busy with her Food Shop, she made sure that we get everything we need. I thought people who's given a review was exaggerating when they said that her food is nice. But they weren't. She really is a good cook. And that's big coming from our family, since my sister is a chef. It's very close to Aninuan Beach which for me is better than the White Beach. It's really quiet and peaceful and there weren't that many people around unlike the White Beach which is very crowded now. But if you want the night life, and buy stuff like souvenirs, you can go to the White Beach. It's only a 3 minute drive. It's not our first time in Puerto Galera. It's our go-to vacation place but Macrina's place is the one I liked the most. Because of the quietness. Definitely going back!

A small guesthouse right on the water of a quiet bay, with an annex further round the waterfront including some small bungalow/huts where we stayed. The room was small, with nowhere really to unpack, but it was clean and comfortable and had a small verandah right on the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Dive Centre is excellent. The staff all seemed to get on really well with each other which created really good atmosphere. They were also (to my inexperienced eye) professional and safe. Underwater they were brilliant at spotting and pointing out small and tiny reef creatures, which were amazing and fascinating (I am now really into nudibranchs). There are water coolers in the main public areas so we could reuse our water bottles (they also provide each guest with a refillable metal water bottle). The restaurant staff were given the evening of Christmas Day off (we were encouraged to eat early!) - a thoughtful touch which exemplifies the management style. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Owner and staff are very accommodating. Location of the lodge is very near on the beach. They tell us where are the "go to places" in Puerto Galera and the beach activities to do. Breakfast is very good! Rooms are clean. My family enjoyed our stay in the lodge esp my mother. Money worth spending ❤️ Keep it up! 😎
