I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.

Wonderful apartment, well equipped, all rooms air-conditioned. Everything is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the apartment is very spacious. This place is incredible, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful! They even brought us fresh fruits from their own garden, and were extremely flexible when it came to our changing times for e.g. breakfast and similar. We are definitely coming back next year!
