The location is great , close to the beach and nice cafes and restaurants in Porto Pim bay then 5 minutes to the marina and further restaurants in Horta. The sea at the beach is very shallow and you can walk far out. The apartment we stayed in was on ground floor with one room right on the road but it was not noisy. The air conditioning was effective. There is a coffee machine, microwave kettle hob and fridge. Comfortable beds. We were sorry we had no time to use the kayaks (free of charge and with life vests)

Located 200 meters from the Atlantic Ocean, Apartamentos São João were completely renovated in 2024, and offers self-contained apartments.

We loved our three day stay here. Very professional and friendly staff with a delicious breakfast buffet. The view from our window overlooking the marina and the mountain on the Island of Pico was stunning. Appreciated the underground parking and easy access. Loved the first floor lounge allowing a quiet and comfortable location to read in the early morning so as not to disturb my sleeping wife. Beautiful sunrise there. Location was ideal for hiking to the beach and enjoying the local restaurants.

House Is on quiet spot with beautiful view. Nice restaurant across the road, cosy rooms,well equiped. Host was very helpful when needed, communication worked well. It Is worth it to check the sunrise if weather allowes it (we visited in winter). Would stay again

Excellent little cozy house with friendly hosts and a wonderful garden with a view to Sao Jorge and Graciosa. Well equipped for kids, with wonderful playground in the garden, and also very convenient with both dishwasher and washing machine. Good parking space, and located in northeast of Faial with a very good pizzeria nearby for takeaway. the price is also one of the lowest in Faial during the summer, so it is extremely good value for money if you have a rented car to get there.
